ROOTS Scotland Location
ROOTS Scotland will take place at the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena located just off junction 2 of the M8 close to Edinburgh Airport.
The EICA is an unusual choice of venue. We will be creating a warm and inviting space within the main climbing arena for our adult programme, with ample space provided for Youth Space, KIDS ROOTS, Prayer venue, Exhibition and Cafe all located in the main building and all under one roof. All venues will be wheel chair accessible.
As many of you will know we have had to change the advertised venue from Perth to Edinburgh due to circumstances beyond our control. When looking for a new venue the EICA’s location appealed because it very accessible. It is 40 minutes south of Perth with great road links to Edinburgh and Glasgow via the M8, and the north of Scotland via the M9. While close to Edinburgh it can be reached without having to travel through the centre of the city. The venue has ample free parking and is also in easy reach by plane and train, being a short taxi journey from Edinburgh International Airport and Ratho station.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience changing the venue will cause our delegates but hope the fanatic facilities at the EICA, with amazing accessible spaces, will make the change worthwhile. We believe the venue is inspiring and will be a real asset to ROOTS Scotland.
