Programme
Our theme – Wholly Holy
Holiness, infusing relationships, changing communities, impacting the world!
ROOTS 2010 will emphasise our roots as a Holiness Movement and consider how holiness should impact and influence our lives and communities. How can we (a holiness movement; a holy people) spread holiness around? How can we infuse our relationships and networks with the message, example and reality of God’s holiness?

Our Adult Programme
Morning Bible Studies
Our morning Bible Studies, led by Lieut-Colonel Ian Barr, will open up the message in 1 Peter and ask what it means to be holy and sanctified.
Dimension Sessions
The International Spiritual Life Commission calls us to ‘live out the doctrine of holiness in all its dimensions – personal, relational, social and political’. New to the ROOTS Programme, our morning Dimensions sessions will further explore the Bible Study teaching, looking at the subject of holiness through the lens of Personal Holiness (led by Lt Col Janet Munn), Relational Holiness (led by Rachel and Jason Gardner), Social Holiness (led by Captain Nick Coke) and Political Holiness (led by Commissioner Elizabeth Matear with teaching from Andy Flannagan, joined by Christians involved in political life). We will be holding two celebrations, both in the Southport Theatre:

Celebration 2 will follow with a magazine style format featuring drama from the Lacey Theatre Company, Comedy, performances from Andy Flannagan and Annika Scutt, and dynamic teaching from Danielle Strickland and Gerard Kelly. Hosted by Shawn Moye, Adam Bonner and Emma Scott this will be a fast paced interactive celebration.
On Sunday Celebration 2 will host a Praise Party with sung worship led by Geraldine Latty and her amazing band, with a drama”The Story so Far” performance from the Lacey Theatre Company. The ROOTS Praise Parties have been very popular in the past and we’re looking forward to a great evening.
Lets Discuss
We want our programme to be interactive. ROOTS isn’t just about listening, it’s about sharing, questioning, debating. Lets Discuss will give you the opportunity to talk about the teaching of the day, to quiz our speaker panel, and debate what holiness is all about. Our host, Cathy LeFeuvre will be joined each night by Phil Wall and Tania Bright and other speakers from the programme. Lets Discuss will include musical performances from Andy Flannagan and Annika Scutt.
