ROOTS Scotland Bible Teacher Confirmed

We are pleased to announce that Lieut-Colonel Ian Barr will be leading our Bible Study at ROOTS Scotland.

Ian is the Secretary for Programme for the UK Territory and has strategic and operational oversight of the delivery of The Salvation Army’s social and evangelistic mission in the UK and Ireland.  He led the Bible Studies at ROOTS 2010 where we enjoyed his informal teaching style, combining strong and practical application with a ready fund of stories and dry humor!

At ROOTS Scotland Ian will take a look into what scripture has to say about issues of social justice, exploring what the Bible instructs, both about caring for the victims of injustice, and also what role we are to play to fight for justice and bring about lasting change.
