ROOTS Equip Sunbury

24th and 25th November 2012 – Sunbury Court, London

Central to the ROOTS vision is providing space to train, equip and resource you for your Christian life and ministry.  We want to build on the success of the ROOTS Equip Seminars at ROOTS Conference 2010 and 2011 by offering regional training  events across the territory.  These training opportunities will give you access to key speakers and practitioners allowing you to gain from their experience and to develop new skills.  We’re starting with ROOTS Equip in November 2012 at Sunbury, London.

Digging deeper into our Social Justice theme, ROOTS Equip Sunbury will offer a range of seminars options looking at different angles of this key subject.  We’re delighted that Captain Nick Coke is helping us plan topics and find the best speakers.

Nick has been a Salvation Army officer for nine years, previously serving as divisional youth officer for three years in South Wales.  He currently holds two additional practitioner appointments as a tutor for the first-year mission module at William Booth College and Mission Partner for Multicultural Ministries at Territorial Headquarters. He is well placed to help us ground the teaching in the Salvation Army context.  We will announce seminars and speakers to be included in the weekend as soon as details are confirmed.

Bookings will open shortly but if you would like to register interest email us at roots@salvationarmy.org.uk and we will contact you with more information as soon as it is available.
